a word from our coach
Greetings Jaguar players, family, and community,
My name is Coach Latef Grim and I will be the new Head Football Coach at Kimball High School. I want to thank all of the people involved in giving me this extraordinary opportunity to coach and mentor these young men and women. I am very excited to be here, and ready tell you about all of the exciting things that are happening at Kimball. I will officially start on campus today and I am already hitting the ground running. Just a little about me, I have coached high school football for the past 13 years and have the honor of taking Brookside Christian from a 2-8 record to a state championship the following year. I have had a few other stints at high schools throughout the San Joaquin County as an offensive coordinator including leading the state in offense at McNair High School in 2017 & 2018.
Football is more than just a game. It allows student athletes the opportunity to meet life-long friends and be a part of a team. I am excited to coach these kids and foster teamwork, discipline, perseverance, goal setting, handling success and failure, time management, and a mental balance.
